Mercaderes de la muerte

Eroticism and sex are important aspects of life. The prevailing opinion considers sex to be a private matter, and in this sense, there is a certain degree of leeway, but public displays of it in shows or artistic works remain rare. Sex is still viewed with curiosity and modesty; for many, these acts are not socially accepted.

For this reason, sexual freedom continues to be considered something dark, subversive, or despicable. Even in the 21st century, many citizens remain oppressed, repressing their sexuality, unable to experience what, for human beings, means the exercise of transcendence: the free exercise of their sexuality.

Sexuality and sex go hand in hand, for both the celibate and the promiscuous. There should be no repression, stigma, or coercion.

Today, more than ever, it is becoming clear how the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party) in Spain is curtailing freedom. The very same supposed champion of freedom, democracy, and feminism is now seeking to destroy it.

In September, these "standard-bearers of freedom" will become merchants of death; making prostitution invisible will not end it. Those who favor abolition favor clandestine prostitution; those who favor abolition favor death and slavery.

The only solution to humanity's major problems related to slavery is the regulation of prostitution, providing structures, mechanisms, protocols, and a legal framework to end abuse, illicit sex work, and human trafficking, especially children. Only then will victims have a voice.

Abolitionists seek to take us back to the shadows, to the years of the dictatorship, to repression, to censorship. Our moral and ethical duty is to shed light in a world filled with darkness, out of humanity, out of sisterhood. If one is a feminist, this is the only choice. Anyone who truly cares for the well-being of women, the well-being of all, cannot be an abolitionist.

Outdated postmodern ideas, which have been mixed with five grandiloquent terms like progressivism, social justice, equality, feminism, and patriarchy, and stripped of any argument or philosophical basis, are brandished like confetti in every speech. The enemy of the people is no longer a terrible monster dressed as a dictator; now the enemy of the people is dressed as a sheep, a wolf.
